How to make a knotting closure on bracelets and necklaces

When making bracelets and necklaces, there are many options to finish your jewelry. You can use many different locks, but if you work with jade cord or other fabric cord, the easiest solution can often be a simple knot closure.

You can also put pearls between your knots, or attach a whole piece of jewelry!

In the video below we show how to make a good and durable knot closure - and the best part is that it is adjustable!

This technique can also be used when weaving bracelets. Instead of putting a lock on your woven bracelet, you can use the jade cord for the edges and when you have finished weaving, tie a shutter on the bracelet. You can read more about pearl weaving here!
