With Beadhouse We are very much into sustainability and would like to teach our customers how to recycle and repair jewelry to bring new life. In this way we better fit our resources and the climate.

Jewelry that is no longer your style
One option is to hold a jewelry-swap day with your friends. Bring your old jewelry and swap for new with your friends so your jewelry can have a new life in another jewelry box. There are also many barter markets around the country where you can exchange jewelry with strangers.

If you still have jewelry lying around that you do not use, we also collect them in our physical store in Copenhagen. We help you sort the metal so that it can be melted and made into new jewelry.

If you are ready to throw yourself into some DIY, you can also use pearls, locks and other jewelry kettles from made jewelry to create something new and unique.

Jewelry which is faded in the gilding or has lost their brilliance

What about silver jewelry? How to cleanse silver? If you have silver jewelery that has become matte, they can easily be polished with a plaster cloth and quickly become like new again. However, chains can be difficult to polish with a cloth. Here you can use ordinary silver cleaning, which is found in many grocery stores for eg. Cutlery - it can also be used for jewelry. In addition, there is a trick where you soak them in water with baking soda and lemon wrapped in silver paper that should be able to give them their old shine back.
